Ubud, Bali – August 30, 2025 — In the heart of Ubud, amidst the tranquil whispers of sprawling rice fields, a profound journey of self-discovery unfolded today. The much-anticipated “Laugh, Share, Care” half-day retreat, a signature event at Om Ham Retreat & Resort, welcomed a group of seekers ready to step away from the daily rush and dive into a world of inner peace and rejuvenation.
The philosophy behind “Laugh, Share, Care” is elegantly simple yet deeply transformative. Founded on the teachings of Master Ketut Arsana, the retreat serves as a sanctuary for those who believe that true well-being is not a destination, but a practice. It is an invitation to rise above mental and emotional stressors by actively engaging the body, calming the mind, and nourishing the spirit. The retreat’s unique format—combining movement, touch, sound, and nourishment—is meticulously designed to create a holistic experience that resonates on all levels.
The journey began not with physical exertion, but with a heart-opening Kundalini Tantra Yoga class led by Master Ketut himself. In a departure from conventional yoga, the session focused on the gentle flow of breath and a series of simple, deliberate movements. Master Ketut’s guidance encouraged participants to release the pressure of achieving the “perfect pose” and instead, to listen to their bodies and move from a place of intuition. The studio, filled with natural light and the soft sounds of a gentle flow, became a sacred space for each individual to surrender and reconnect. It was a beautiful reminder that the most powerful yoga is the one that meets you exactly where you are.

Following the yoga, the retreat transitioned into a deeply personal self-massage workshop. The atmosphere was one of quiet care and newfound body awareness. Master Ketut taught simple yet profound techniques to release built-up tension in the shoulders, neck, and hands—the very parts of the body that bear the weight of a busy life. Participants worked with gratitude and intention, learning that a gentle touch can be a powerful act of self-love. It was an empowering session that equipped each person with a practical tool to carry a piece of the retreat’s healing energy back into their daily lives.
As the day progressed, the energy of the group blossomed. The air was filled with joyful vibrations during an uplifting Kirtan session, where participants joined their voices in ancient call-and-response chants. It was a beautiful expression of communal energy and a powerful way to open the heart and soothe the soul. Following the Kirtan, the retreat concluded with a delicious and nourishing dinner, meticulously prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. It was a moment of true communion, as laughter and stories were shared against the backdrop of a stunning Bali sunset.
A retreat participant, who wished to remain anonymous, shared their profound experience: “I came feeling so overwhelmed and disconnected. But after the yoga and the Kirtan, my mind finally felt quiet, and my heart feels full. It’s like I found a part of myself that will help me in the future. I feel great.”
Master Ketut Arsana reflected on the purpose of the day, stating, “This retreat is about finding the joy and peace that are already within us. The tools we share—the breath, the sound, the connection—simply provide the space to let that inner light shine. We are honored to hold this space for them.”
The “Laugh, Share, Care” retreat successfully provided a powerful testament to the healing power of conscious practice and genuine human connection. The Om Ham Retreat & Resort remains committed to offering a sanctuary for holistic well-being and is dedicated to guiding individuals on their path to a more joyful and connected life.
